Pray for your enemy, they expect of us
Non-violence, such is the creed of Christianity
Yet, no one hitherto heard the chorus
Voices of the silent in vanity
Our creed indeed we uphold
Non-violence, no physical combat
Troubled greatly, yet we hold
Pushed to the wall with fiery dart(s)
—SILENCE—
Not necessarily the absence of utterance and words
—VIOLENCE—
Not necessarily the engagement of physical strength
We are silent and still non-violent
To the sounds of butchering, we are
To the booms of guns and explosives, we are
To the inhumane endeavours of the wicked, we are
—Be Reminded—
Pray for your enemy, such prayer not specified
Now we pray as our humanity is defiled
Such as our hearts understand in this tide
Pray only we can, to be edified
Be it a prayer against the wicked
Such wicked, ‘enemy’ they are called
It is still for our enemy
In a state of defiled humanity
—I PRAY—
Much more than my enemy does to me
So be done unto him and his family
That the scriptures may be fulfilled
Pray for your enemy
—I PRAY—
In such a thousand fold, let him reap
Every single deed that he heap(s)
Like unto me as he has done
Be unto him in his fun
—I PRAY—
For him whose delight is in our killing
And comfort in scavenging us
May heaven like an infilling
On him rain coals of fire with unceasing cause.
If wickedness in this wicked age can be justified
Let such justification be replicated
If the enemies’ deeds towards me, as bad seen good
Here in lies my prayer
That as unto me, much more unto him
That the scriptures be fulfilled
Pray for your enemy.
—AMEN—
