We Fight: (In)dependence.

We Fight!
Everybody fights.
You fight me,
I fight you.
We fight one another.
If God were here,
We’d probably fight him too

Such fights are intrinsic,
Oceans of ceaseless cause like the Pacific
A denial of the greater force,
Acknowledgement of his supposed involvement.
Unprepared to follow his ways,
And for the record wish to know what he says.
If God were here
We’d probably fight him too.

What we feel is but within,
What we see is but without,
How we react is in merging both.
The felt and the seen,
Two sides of a coin,
Different yet the same.

Hum(ility) in man is what makes us humane
When we try to ‘man up’
We are but manipulators
Our strength is in Dependence
The God-factor,
We are fashioned for
“Independence!”_Our greatest threat.

Many fights we fight,
Greatest of all; Independence (freedom)
Yet we need not fight.
For fashioned we are
For Dependence.
