I thank everyone present here. May God honor you.
It is going to be an interactive session please. And I pray we’d all enjoy the lecture. Amen…. Writing and the heart.

Firstly, what does this topic mean? How do you understand it. Anyone???
Writing is graph-ism of symbols such as letters that express some meaning.
It’s a work of an author.
Heart is emotion, moral effort; the centre, essence or core.
Writing is one of the best ways to communicate ideas, opinions, etc to the people. It’s easy to write but writing from the heart is very different. Writing from the heart means wanting to express oneself. (To connect with people and share your stories/intent thoughts.

“The Posture of a man’s Spirit, determines what is written on the tablet of his heart. What be written on a man’s heart sponsors what a man says and Write about“

Of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Our writings also!

This is very right!
The art of putting words together in a meaningful way is a valuable skill. Words truly do have the power to change people and you should use them for good.
Words from your heart. You should use words in everything you do to inspire others and add value to people’s lives. Words should be used to live purpose. Every word written must have a purpose.

There’s a vast difference between what you can get from the mind, and what you can get from the heart. The mind is limited, the heart is unlimited

Writing from the heart is _filling the paper with the breathing of your heart_ William Wordsworth. Don’t write what you know – what you know may bore you, and thus bore your readers. Write about what interests you and interests you deeply. Writing isn’t just something that happens while you’re typing or putting pen to paper. Writing from the heart means being constantly aware of one’s surroundings. This is what the Buddhists call mindfulness.
Writing is beyond writing, it needs deepness of insight. It will not only bring you a Fuller experience of life but also lead to deeper and more authentic writing. There’s no need for plagiarism! – Because what you do is from your heart. You get to observe the world, nature and your feelings.

When you write from your head, you’re logical. When you write from your heart, you involve emotions plus logical reasoning. That’s the best!

[6/14, 8:25 PM] 09095267825: Could you explain further how writing from the heart and from the mind differ? With examples if possible.
[6/14, 8:27 PM] Guest Speaker: Writing from the heart involves emotions and as it has been said earlier it is unlimited. Because you write about what interests you.

Writing from the mind is when a topic or something drops in your mind and you feel like writing something about it ‘simply because it dropped’ – no passion is involved. Just ideas. And this makes it limited .. When you run out of ideas, The Heart is the core (when you put your heart to something, it’s done already before the end). Have you ever wondered why some writers quit writing after sometime?

It’s because they followed the minds not hearts. They had no passion, but ideas.
Trust the creative process that comes from your heart.

Tips on how to write from the heart
Who has an idea?

[6/14, 8:34 PM] ‪+234 816 080 2394‬: Through inspirations. Probably by situations we are surrounded with.

[6/14, 8:34 PM] Guest Speaker: That’s True Inspirations, they truly help. I handle a Love & Relationship stuff and after Lectures, people ask how come you know about these stuffs and the like: what gives me those topics and information is Inspiration. If you want to be good at whatever you do, you must be inspired. These inspirations come in diverse ways.. My environment, what I see… And these makes people think you’ve gone through what you’re telling them.
INSPIRATION!!

You need to be inspired: We don’t need to look too far, sources of inspiration are near.. We see them everyday, we only need to discover and develop our interest! When these inspirations come, you need to be sensitive. They might come when you don’t expect. You need to be sensitive. Write when you’re full of emotion.

This is the easiest way to write from the heart. In deep emotional state, words flow out of you and naturally tinted with emotion from your heart. The rawer the emotion in your writing, the more heartfelt the words on the page will be to your readers.

[6/14, 8:44 PM] ‪+234 816 080 2394‬: But ma, a question. What if the emotions fade away… Are we still going to feel the same thing we felt while writing? Or will it bring back the memories tied it?

[6/14, 8:47 PM] Guest Speaker: Write when the emotions are flowing. It depends in the length of your work. Your emotions will keep the readers glued to your piece. 🏻Concentrate on passion filled topics:
You must write about something you’re passionate about. Your heart, your passion and your emotions are very closely linked to each other. You must have passion and deep understanding about what you want to write on.

Be you:
You will never write from the heart if you don’t be you. Being you involves you not writing in a way that makes your bran think about how others will perceive your words. Everyone is going to get a different meaning from your words so just concentrate on pouring in emotion and being you. Don’t copy. Write from Within. Be your inspiration.

[6/14, 8:57 PM] ‪+234 816 080 2394‬: I’m blessed!

[6/14, 8:58 PM] Guest Speaker: Summarily, when you write from your heart, let it be something that is aimed at impacting lives. Write what will change your readers for good. And you’ll see the essence of writing from your heart. Let it pass a message to your people.
Thank you so much for tonight. Let’s pray. Heavenly Father ,thank you for the lesson. Help us to be fulfilled and fruitful. Amen

Any question before we call it a day?

[6/14, 9:03 PM] ‪+234 810 323 7298‬: Question please. You said atmosphere, environment aids writing right? My question is that in case you’ve started writing and you are flowing as the inspiration is coming and all of a sudden you were infuriated by someone should one continue.

[6/14, 9:10 PM] Guest Speaker: It depends on what you’re writing on. It determines if that moment should be included.

[6/14, 9:12 PM] ‪+234 810 323 7298‬: okay, thanks ma.

[6/14, 9:13 PM] Guest Speaker: Thanks for your time. Good night everyone.

[6/14, 9:25 PM] ‪+234 706 153 6682‬: Thanks ma @⁨Amojo Toluwalope⁩ for the imparting session tonight. I must confess I indeed learnt one or two things. More and more inspiration will continually pour from where all these came from.
