Sweet HolySpirit of God we bless you for this precious moment and the grace to teach your people through me. We receive with meekness in our hearts, the engrafted words of God, which wields the capacity save, deliver, rescue, and help our dying soul. TOPIC: SCRIBES AND KINGS.
SCOPE: The Scriptures; Insights.
DISCUSSANT: Lawal Kolade M.
DISCOURSES:
1. Based on our understanding about Scribes, Discuss the relationship that exist between SCRIBES and KINGS.
2. SCRIBES are indispensable entity for a kingdom’s growth; Yes or No? Discuss.
3. With God as the eternal King of such Kingdom that we represent, Discuss the expectations from us as Scribes of the Ancient Kingdom of God.
Putting into consideration our advert statements, the Kings if the ancient world do have courts and councils of learned or even wise men that they saddled with the responsibility of an advisory committee as we would regard them in this time of ours. Amongst the elders, the oracle’s or priest and war Generals there is always the indispensable seat of Scribes.
Not because they document or write alone, but because their level of literacy in ancient arts and knowledge is required in council, there ability to have over time by the reason of literacy, put to Heart the ordinances, actions and historical incidents of previous kings, and by that they can advise the council on related matters in times past, and proffer solutions such that have been addressed to similar situations.
The Scribes not only posses eloquence to speak for Kings, they also by reason of observation, interactions and understanding the King’s heart and needs are able to communicate and entrench the intent of the King to the masses. By Cultural distinction, the ruling class are more knowledgeable than the masses and at such there is always a hierarchy of wisdom and social intelligence for development.
So in circumstances where development is required, the Scribes serves as the intermediary that helps the masses understand the King’s intent on development and why it is needed – it could be said that the: Scribes are the people’s portals and scope of understanding the King’s heart and ways.
2 Samuel 8:15-17
15. And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.
16. And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
17. And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and *Seraiah was the scribe;1 King’s 4:1-3
1. So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2. And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
3. Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
The Above are Scriptural accounts of the tables of King’s in the Bible who understood the seat and place of Scribes.
In this time and Season where we no longer are ruled by King’s, but are now ruled by presidents…
We must understand that there is little that Man can do to repair the fault of the world that he did not create and the world that he is learning to understand… Even many of our leaders who claim to want to repair faults need their faulty hearts to be repaired.
This is why people no longer seek solace in what he government can offer, but rather in whatever can satisfy their longings and address their situations.
God wants to reign again not only in Heaven over the affairs of the world again, but also on the hearts of men….
THESE is why it is important for us as Scribes to understand the heart of the Father and communicate it Rightly to the people.
The level of “busyness” in the world today with little or no time to Align or even receive from God in His realm made Him to stretch out his hands to raising SCRIBES.
It is high time we stop seeing ourselves as writers alone, as Writing is only one of the aspects of being a Scribe. I have come in contact with many individual who carry the “Scribal Anointing” but because of the deception of our generation, they limit themselves to being Writers… And have been expending the residue of the anointing on the faults of the world. Thinking their world that cannot change hearts would change the world. WHY ? Because no word can change hearts or a world if it lacks Life.
This evening, I want to not only open our eyes to our calling and the various Commissioning but also provoke the Scribal Anointing upon us. So we would know that we are part of a Council, a Court of Heaven, where sessions and meetings that affects the affairs of Man cannot be decided except you and I are seated..
We are Scribes of God’s Kingdom. The God-head, alongside Princes and Elders all have seats in this Council. When you know that you represent this Kingdom and that you are to communicate the decision of the council to the inhabitants of Earth, then we would learn to patiently Align ourselves to always receive from above.
I call upon you as a Scribe, telling you that it’s been long you have thought lower of yourselves as regards the demands of your office. This world needs your portal to open to see and know the truth in the midst of it’s confusion, if only you would know that there is a King called GOD whom you represent in all aspects of your life. You were not born to discover you can write as a talent. You discovered because you were predestined as one. You are a born Scribe, such whose office and calling necessitated your birth.
People of God. We are indispensable entity of a Court that necessarily presides on the affairs of men.
QUESTION:
As a scribe in the Kingdom, how do I carve a niche for myself amongst other scribes and run with it? OR
Should I just write anything that I think it’s cool in God’s sight?

ANSWER:
Okay… I kind of love this Question. And I’d answer thus:
In my 3rd year in School, because I’m such person that loves to Question status quo of things, and I prefer to subject myself to the strong hand of inspiration rather than the supposed dictates of structure or format. I said what if I have a message to be quantified in both Poetry and Essay? So I wrote as inspired: the politics of caution.. it was a poem and essay together, communicating one idea.
For Scribes in the Ancient time, they take them through a school from very tender age and at such are able to discover what they can do and after being qualified as Scribes they are sent to the palace or hems of state affairs where all they do is to the progress and interest of the Kingdom
For starters, as we have been used to being “writers” a person can discover his strength based on the acquired facts and details of academics. When you then start to write under the Anointing of the Scribe, it is the Spirit that decides which of your acquired niche to engage.
When we grow from being a writer and one understands the Heart of the Father and the Needs of the Kingdom, that’s when one truly becomes a SCRIBE. Because then you work under the influence of the Spirit in Council of Heaven and only that which has been decided in the Court and needful to be revealed that is WRITTEN about. Where you apply embargo of you don’t write unless inspired.
