Let us pray; JESUS, we ask tonight that we see You. We receive insights into the Christ. And we shall be changed from Glory to Glory… Amen

We belong to a Kingdom, A Government, with its own measures of running its own activities. The assignment of every servant is to first understand The RULER, the GOVERNOR, the KING then to understand the system itself. How things are run. Christ is not merely a name as it were. Christ is not just a person as it were. Christ is not just the surname of Jesus.

Christ is first:
-A REALITY; a sphere, a location of endless possibilities.
-A SYSTEM/Government
A closer look at 2 Cor 5:17 “If any man be IN CHRIST. Ephesians 2:6 “We are sitted IN CHRIST. Col 3:3 “we’ve died, resurrected and now hidden IN CHRIST”. When you see the word “in” what first comes to mind is a location

The certainty of a man’s location is fundamental to what drives him in fulfilling God’s mandate for him. The bible talks about we being in this world (physical) but not of this world (government). We are here but do not belong here. So “world” too isn’t just a place. It is a government, A system.

So we can conclude scripturally that the opposite of ‘world’ isn’t heaven. The opposite of ‘world’ is ‘Christ’. Are we following pls? I’m trusting God to leading us somewhere.

Mark 3:14
AMP:And He appointed twelve to continue to be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach [as apostles or special messengers]

He (Jesus) drew them in, to stay, then reach out (not leave, not go away). That they might dwell in Him yet reach out, without losing touch or walking out of their dwelling place. Please pay very close attention to this. The call and appointment was made by JESUS. The assignment is given by JESUS. No God-preacher is self-appointed or man-appointed. This is non-negotiable. The same one who appointed; determines the weight of the assignment and the timing of the assignment.

In Jesus’ parable. Servants were given talents/coins to invest based on their abilities. The LORD of this Christ-Government cannot be impressed.
He knows each man’s capacity. There is order in this Christ-Government. Fundamental things every Preacher must understand.

Why the Government;

The preacher’s assignment is not streamlined to what he feels is fine, or nice, or preachable. Or fanciful, his content must be in Tandem with the government’s.

His content is not permitted to exceed the borders beyond which the government would not participate in or with.

Why the LORD of the government?

A true believer/man of God is not one who only knows his authority in Christ; but also acknowledges the authority of Christ over him. Hence; submission to the LORD of the government. If these two ideals are well understood. The church will be free of strife and competitions amongst her chief servants, because no preacher determines his assignment nor the weight of his assignment nor his audience nor his trajectory. All of these are determined by the LORD of the government.

Matthew 11:28-29
28 KJV:Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 KJV:Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 KJV:For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Emphasis on LEARN OF ME
Finally. A lot of patience and attentiveness is needed of the preacher for each phase of the journey. Learning the The Lord of the Government and His Government remain the preacher’s first assignment in the spirit-curriculum.
